Destinations
We are delighted to celebrate the tremendous success of our Year 11s, who have today collected their GCSE results. We are incredibly proud of their efforts, with these outcomes representing the culmination of five years of tireless dedication, strife and resilience – even in the most testing of circumstances.
These public examinations mark the first time in the students’ secondary careers that they have been externally assessed, and as a cohort they have already faced great adversity and disruption to their studies over recent years, due to unprecedented circumstances. Our students should be incredibly proud of all they have achieved.
Demonstrating faultless determination and ambition, a number of students opened their envelopes today to find a sweep of exceptionally high grades. While Braelyn secured 6 x phenomenal grade 9s, 1 x grade 8 and 1 x grade 7, Lilly achieved a fantastic 6 x grade 9s and 4 x grade 8s. Similarly, Toni achieved 4 x grade 9s, 3 x grade 8s and 2 x grade 7s while Jordan scored 4 x grade 9s, 2 x grade 8s and 2 x grade 7s. We are equally proud of Andrew, George, Georgiana and Taylor who also achieved grade 9s, alongside a set of remarkable grade 8s, 7s and 6s.
We take huge pleasure in seeing the success of every one of our students. The whole cohort should feel pleased with their wonderful accomplishments. We are delighted that the percentage of students achieving at least a grade 5 or above in both English and Maths has continued to improve and is above the national average.
We would like to take this moment to express our sincere thanks to our staff, parents and carers who have worked in partnership with us to support the Year 11 cohort.
