We are thrilled to announce that we have once again received a 'good' rating in our latest Ofsted inspection. The inspection, which took place on the 8th and 9th of March 2023, praised our community for our safe and respectful environment for pupils and students.
The report highlighted several areas of strength for our school, including our ambitious curriculum, strong subject knowledge among staff, and focus on developing our young people’s leadership skills through enrichment activities. Additionally, our safeguarding arrangements were found to be effective, and pupils were deemed well-prepared for their next stage of education.
While the report identified areas for further development, Coopers School and Trust leaders are dedicated to addressing these and continuing to provide the highest quality education for all our pupils and students. We take pride in our collective achievements and are excited to build upon our successes in the future.
Simon Garrill, our CEO at Education for the 21st Century, wanted to congratulate our community of pupils, their families and staff on their work and progress. He added that:
This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the school's staff and students. At the trust, we are committed to supporting Coopers School in its pursuit of excellence. Collaboration across all schools in the trust is essential to sharing best practices and ensuring a safe, respectful, and ambitious learning environment for all students
